Diagonal-Cutting Pliers
Diagonal pliers are specifically designed for cutting copper, brass, aluminum and steel wire. The bladed jaws are excellent for cutting, but are not suitable for gripping or twisting. Some diagonal pliers have a specially ground edge which makes a flush cut. This leaves a flush or flat surface, as opposed to the pointed tip made by diagonal cutters.
