Hitachi's new series of 7" and 9" angle grinders employ "User Vibration Protection" or UVP to help reduce the amount of vibration passed on to the user. A moving joint mechanism in the handle paired with handle dampers work with the flexible switch and side handle features to form the UVP system which can reduce user vibration by more than 30%.
