Hitachi’s patented IDI technology gives users the most durable housing on the market, while adding life to the motor. IDI allows the motor bearing to be seated in aluminum, not plastic, preventing deviation of the motor core and grease leakage caused by heat and stress. The 11.6 Amp, 1200 Watt motor produces a best-in-class impact energy of 11.4 ft-lbs and delivers unmatched performance. Using a highly efficient striking transmission, the DH45MR produces drilling speeds 30% faster and 15% greater chiseling performance than the closest competitors. Elastomer covered handles provide a solid and comfortable grip and a 12-position variable lock mechanism adds convenience in chiseling operations. The DH45MR features Hitachi’s ergonomic “Inspire” design and comes with a large injection molded carrying case, depth stopper and grease.
