Jet gives lathe enthusiasts the perfect tool with this 12" x 34-1/2" Wood Lathe with Stand (708352). Powered by a 3/4 HP motor, it handles increased capacities with ease, and it maintains consistent RPM through a variety of turning situations. Ideal for shaping, smoothing, finishing, fluting and veining, its headstock swivels 360° with positive stops at 45° and 90°, while the heavy duty cast-iron lathe bed adds stability and limits vibration while you work. The variable speed spindle includes 6 pre-positioned selections with positive detents to quickly set the speed to the most common requirements. Its live center has a removable pin for boring through stock, and the hollow tailstock allows you to perform long hole boring for lamps and other vessels. Plus, the headstock, tailstock and tool rest base can all be adjusted without using tools.
