Jet gives you impressive durability and convenience with this JJP-12HH 12" Planer/Jointer with Helical Head (708476). This 2-in-1 machine has a helical cutterhead with indexable carbide inserts for a superior finish and quieter cut. Its parallelogram design keeps the table close to the cutterhead for improved finish and allows for precise depth of cut adjustments. The extra large aluminum extruded fence with centered controls for quick adjustments, while the powerful 3HP induction motor easily handles the toughest jointing and planing tasks. There's a built-in dust chute with 4" dust port used for both jointing and planing operations. Plus, the magnetic switch provides safer and more reliable operation.
