Get versatility, power and durability all in one machine when you've got the Jet JSG-6DC 6" x 48" Belt/12" Disc Sander (708599). Its design combines a 12" disc and a 6" x 48" belt to provide raw industrial sanding power, and it's powered by a 1-1/2 HP motor to take on the toughest sanding tasks. The 2 precision-ground cast iron tables have positive stops at 90° and 45° for sanding flat pieces or mitered angles, allowing the belt sander to be used vertically, horizontally or anywhere in between. Its exclusive dual thumbscrew belt tracking adjustment locks to keep the belt on track as you work, plus the graphite covered steel platen runs cooler, increasing machine and belt life. The specially designed belt guard allows for full use of the 6" belt, resulting in less slippage, while the quick-lock dust cover enables you to make fast disc changes. Plus, it has built-in handles for easier portability.
