Woodworking is a cinch when you've got the Jet JWBS-18QT-3 Bandsaw (710751B). Powered by a 3 HP, 230-volt motor, it has an impressive resaw capacity of 12-1/4" for large work pieces. It has a dual tapered, one-piece steel support column and an easy-to-use push button on/off switch. Capable of 3,000 SFTM blade speed, it's powder coated for durability and it has 8-spoke band wheels that are computer balanced to spin true without vibration. The cast iron handwheels make smooth, easy blade adjustments with less effort, while the blade tracking window and light colored tire provide a clear view of the blade during tracking. It also has dual locking cabinet doors that give you access to the blade and a blade tension scale that enables precise blade tensioning.
