Product Description
All adjustments are made in the moveable sliding head, making this style fast acting. Multiple-Disc-Clutch holds securely at any point alont the bar.
- Reach: 3-1/2" from edge of bar to center line of screw
- Bar: 1" x 5/16" round edge, high carbon steel; 100,000 psi, tensile strength
- Castings: Malleable and/or ductile iron; powder coated orange finish
- Screw: 1/2" diameter cold drawn steel with special, smoothly cut Acme threads
- Handle: Varnished hardwood with plated steel ferrule
- Clutch Discs: Hardened, plated steel; three clutch discs and one clutch spring constitute the Multiple-Disc-Clutch
- Swivel: 1-1/4" diameter exclusive Jorgensen design with steel internal tooth washers for positive "stay on" power
