It helps prevent measuring or cutting errors and eliminates the need for tape measure and pencil. Just place the precision lens cursor over the desired board length, press the board against the stop and cut. It includes 8' of anondized aluminum track, measuring tapes, flip and production stops, and detailed plans for building miter saw wings from melamine.
