This 18V LXT 1/2" Impact Wrench kit features a Makita-built 4 pole motor that generates 170 ft-lbs of efficient torque in a compact size. At only 6.5" long and 3.7 lbs., the BTW251's compact size reduces operator fatigue. The ergonomic shape fits like a glove with even pressure and easy control. A built-in LED light illuminates dark spaces and corners. The replaceable armature, field, and externally accessible brushes increase serviceability. Makita Lithium-Ion technology provides longer run time, 5x lower self-discharge (for use any time,) and 16 firm holding contact terminals (for constant high power). The Rapid Optimum Charger uses "Active 3 Control" to control current, heat and voltage and prolong battery life. The charger's built-in fan cools the battery to produce more lifetime work. Great for mechanics, installers, builders, fabricators and more. There is a 3-year warranty on the impact wrench and a 1-year warranty on the batteries and charger.
