The Makita 1-1/4 HP Compact Router (RT0700C) features a variable speed control dial (10,000-30,000 RPM), an ergonomic design, a shaft lock for easy bit changes and easy-to-read depth scales. The router uses 1/4" shank router bits. The compact router is double insulated and specially designed with a heavy duty aluminum motor housing to withstand harsh working conditions.
