Panasonics EY7840X 14.4V SDS Plus Rotary Hammer is a versatile tool built for power and durability in a compact lightweight frame, ideal for continuous drilling into concrete, brick and block.
- Has two modes, hammer mode and drill mode
- The hammer mode can drill concrete with a speed of 0 -1,000 RPM and a maximum of 4,000 blows per minute
- The drill mode delivers a speed of 0-1,000 RPM ideal for drilling and fastening into wood and metal
- Utilizes a 5 stage clutch that can deliver 13.3 to 48 Inch-Pounds of torque in 9 Inch-Pound increments
- Has a 1/2" capacity chuck that uses the SDS-plus bit system
- The chuck utilizes a push to insert bit style with a one touch bit that allows you to easily remove and insert bits
- The new air-coupling hammer mechanism allows you to quickly drill holes into concrete by using compressed air to drive the piston and deliver power more effectively
- The built in LED work light helps illuminate the work area while the drill is in use
- The removable shoulder strap keeps the drill out of your way when both hands are needed
- The location of the variable speed trigger and forward/reverse button makes one handed use easy
- At only 9 inches long and weighing only around 5 pounds this compact and lightweight hammer drill is ideal for working in cramped spaces
