Get power and durability in one machine with this PM2700 5 HP 1PH 230 Volt Shaper (1280101C) from Powermatic. Powered by a 3 HP motor, it's capable of 2 reversible spindle speeds to tackle a variety of applications, and has an integrated caster system built into the cast iron base for instant shop mobility. The heavy duty 30" x 40" precision ground table top makes for smooth stock feeding, while the quick lock belt tensions allows you to easily adjust the speed. The industrial extruded aluminum fences system with fine adjust dials enable more precise positioning, plus there are dual 4" ports so you can attach it to your dust collection system for a cleaner workshop. There's also a digital readout for spindle height that enables you to make adjustments to within 0.001" in the spindle height, which is ideal when aligning rail and stile cutters for raised panel doors.
