Product Description
Get the power and durability you need with this 15S 15" Planer with Spiral Cutterhead and DRO (1791210) from Powermatic. Powered by a 3 HP motor that's controlled with a magnetic switch, its spiral cutterhead and knives provide smoother cutting and a finer finish than conventional knives. Three V-belts transfer maximum power to the cutterhead, while the digital readout ensures accurage table positioning. The large cast iron handwheel positions the table quickly and easily, plus the table locks firmly in place, preventing movement during cutting. The serrated steel infeed roller and smooth steel outfeed roller allow for a 1/8" maximum depth of cut and trouble-free operation. Its large precision ground cast iron table and extensions provide maximum workpiece support, and the one-piece welded steel stand has built-in lockable casters.
