Powermatic has the perfect disc sander for serious woodworkers. This OES9138 3HP 230 Volt Oscillating Edge Sander (1791282) is powered by a 3 HP motor with a 9" x 138-3/4" abrasive belt massive enough to handle large workpieces. It oscillates 24 cycles per minute for a better finish and longer belt life, and it has a pedestal control switch for easy access. It has a rugged bearing-assisted tensioning device for fast belt changes and quick adjust tracking, along with a miter head for angle work. It tilts -5° and 45° for any angle and working height needed, has a hinged guard that opens for infinite length sanding. Plus, its dust collection ports keep the work area clean while extending abrasive belt life.
