Product Description
Powermatic has you the woodworker in mind with this PM2800 18" Variable Speed Drill Press (1792800). Powered by a heavy duty 1 HP motor that's larger than any other drill press in its class for maximum torque, it has 2 LED lights to illuminate your workpiece and a depth stop for quick setting. The head mounted dual laser guide system conveniently pinpoints bit entry on the workpiece, and it has an expandable table with 2 T-slot grooves for a miter gauge or other homemade jigs. The large handle makes lowering and raising the table a cinch, while the variable speed system adjusts quickly and easily in one full range. A lighted push button switch with a safety key is located on the front of the head for easy access, and it has a 5/8" keyless chuck for no-hassle bit changes. It also is equipped with a front mounted digital LED readout to display the exact speed of the spindle.
