This lathe is the most robust and capable lathe Powermatic has built to date at over 900 pounds. A digital RPM readout and electronic variable speed allows for convenient adjustments. The remote on/off switch has a magnetic back and can be relocated anywhere on the machine. Built in spindle indexing allows the user to make even cuts in a work piece. Powermatic has spent over 5 years developing the 4224B making sure it has every feature to make your job easier.
