- The spindle, housing, motor, raising and lowering mechanism are a single self-contained unit, securely assembled to the underside of the table for absolute 90° spindle-to-table alignment
- Poly V-Drive System transmits more efficient torque to the spindle
- The rugged ddrive spindle assembly and permanently lubricated ball bearings are preloaded to prevent distortion at high speeds which assures accurate, chatter-free shaping
- Massive 30" X 27" table (with standard cast-iron extension wings) provides extra support for shaping large work - Also, a precision ground face and ribbed under-table-construction prevents warping
- Conveniently-grouped controls are at the front of the machine within easy reach of the operator from his normal workig position
- Deep-tapered spindle design alloes for easy changing of accessory spindles from 1/2" to 1 1/4" to permit use of a wide variety of shaper cutters - Table opening size can be varied, as needed, by removing special table insert rings
- Precision milled 3/8" X 3/4" T-slot, miter slot accomodate miter gage, sliding miter jig and other accessories for holding workpiece
