Pros: Good only when it works
Cons: Some kind of metal collet broke into 3 pieces. Doesn't work.
Comments:
I have always been a fan of DeWalt products until now. I wrote off a 12v XRP cordless drill that just died after 2 years of limited, easy use.
Now my router DW618 of about the same age and use stopped working. A metal collet broke. Must be part of the motor kit ($50+).
I will have to buy a new motor because I have the 3 base kit, but this will absolutely be the last DeWalt product I ever buy. Have read other reviews and they are consistent with mine.
Pretty yellow and slick marketing, but Buyer Beware.
