I use this stapler for installing fabric on teak pool tables. No problem driving 3/8" staples all the way into hard Rodesian Teak. Much more convienent than air powered. Fast and efficient!

Pros: As powerful as a pneumatic, but without the need for a compressor.
Cons: Staples can be a bit harder to find locally.
Comments:
This is a fabulous stapler! I bought this for upholstery and unlike most electric staplers this one actually penetrates hardwoods the first time. No more bent staples! This has already paid for itself by saving me tons in staple costs! I was able to find the staples in the tool department of a local department store. Great tool!!!
