The EK628 is powered by a 9.6 volt Ni-Cd battery that
provides approximately 70 crimps per battery charge,
depending on the size of the connector. It uses Greenlee
KC22 crimping dies for copper connectors from 8AWG to
600 kcmil and Greenlee KA22 dies for aluminum connectors
from 8 AWG to 350 kcmil. As optional accessories, the
CJD3 crimping jaw can be used with all industry “W” style
crimping dies, and the CJK crimping jaw can be used with
Thomas & Betts “6TON” crimping dies.
- One handed operation is easy due to the slim profile and lightweight design
- Crimping jaws automatically open to signal that crimp is complete
- Crimping jaws can be opened in mid-cycle to adjust connector
- Interchangeable crimping jaws rotate 350 degrees
- Two batteries, 120 Volt battery charger, and molded carrying case included
- UL and cUL classified from 8 AWG to 600 kcmil with Anderson, Blackburn® , Burndy, ILSCO,
- Panduit, Thomas & Betts, and Penn-Union copper code color-coded connectors when used
- with Greenlee KC22 crimping dies
