Weighing in at just under 10 pounds and measuring a full inch shorter than previous models, the G23SR allows for optimal handling while providing the needed power, torque and durability to finish your job. The 15 Amp, 1,700 Watt motor supplies superior power with added addition of dust and heat protection. The armature is dual sealed with varnish and a heat resistant adhesive to protect from wear caused by dust and debris. The labyrinth style retainers at both ends of the armature help to eliminate dust ingress to bearings, ensuring smoother operation and a longer tool life. The G23SR also employs an iron bearing holder at the commutator side of the motor for improved tool durability.
