Pros: No additional hand tools needed to fill oil or tighten chain. Easy to start.
Cons: Must use two hands to keep blade from bouncing on the wood
Comments:
Noticed this was the "ONLY" electric chain saw rental at the local Big Box Store. Have to cut wood into larger pieces and haul up to the house to finish cutting into final firewood lengths.
Had a gas chain saw for over 20 years. It is nice not to mess with mixed gas and a pull string. Did I mention this is really easy to turn on and off? This is a good tool for occasional use. NOTE: If you do not like to sharpen chains, you can also pick up spare chains for the saw from Tool Barn.
