Pros: Light, powerful and tough
Cons: I only have one of these.

I purchased this saw because of it's light weight. 7 - 1/4" saws are much heavier and difficult to handle while holding a piece of lumber or in an awkward standing position. I use a radial or miter saw to make straight cuts. I haven't had an occasion when it didn't have adequate power. It cuts anything that I've required of it. I've used this saw to frame and construct a 1,500 sq ft house. I've dropped it, lowered by cord, dropped 2X4's on it and it continues to work well. The price has gone up 50% since I purchased mine. The only negative is the availability of blades. I ordered ~ 6 blades from the Tool Barn and haven't used all of them during my construction process. Love this saw!

Pros: Smooth, fast, light, powerful. Love the dust nozzle feature.
Cons: Very rare 6" blade. Not availble from major blade manufacturers (like Irwin)

This saw is compact and powerful. It's the only circular saw you'll need for 1 9/16" or lighter lumber.
