The K-380 Drum Machine offers a multitude of unique, easy to use features to make the toughest drain cleaning jobs a snap. Designed with a new ultra-modern style and sleek profile, the K-380 is a perfect fit for drain cleaners, service plumbers, facility and institutional maintenance departments or property management companies.
- Comes standard with Ridgid's patented cable control system which causes the drum to stop spinning when the blade becomes lodged in a blockage
- The Control system also limits potential for cable flip-over and warns the operator when blockages have been encountered
- The contemporary style drum design is comprised of a rugged, corrosion-resistant, polyethylene drum that is rust and dent proof and features larger access holes to the drum interior Operating position is set at 90 degrees to the floor which gives the user better cable control
- The new solid core cable uses a tough 3/8" integral wound (IW) solid core cable that is rugged and kink resistant
- This drum machine comes with the 3/8" X 50' cable length cable
- Other 3/8" and 1/2" cable is available in 50' and 75' lengths
- The AUTOFEED device is offered as an accessory, this patented automatic cable feed delivers cable into the drain with minimal hands-on effort
- The drum capacity can hold 100' of 3/8" (30m/10mm) or 75' of 1/2" (23m/12mm) continuous length cable
- The 3/8" cable is best for 1-1/2" to 3" lines of up to 100'
- The 1/2" cable is best for 2" to 4" lines of up to 75'
- The 1/3 HP motor spins cable at a rate of 190 RPM and is CSA approved
- This drum is approved to UL standards (NRTLC)
