Product Description
Hinged Cutters™ are an original Reed invention, and are the only hinged cutters that track every time. Four wheels and strong guide fingers ensure perfect alignment on square cuts. The closed frame allows better torque, so all energy is directed towards the pipe for a faster and more efficient cut. The cutting wheels are made from high shock-resistant tool steel on CNC machines and then heat treated. This process creates a thinner yet stronger blade for precision and durability. Reed Hinged Cutters are lighter and with a lower clearance (4") than similar cutters, and require only a 90º to 110º handle swing. The cold cut creates no shower of sparks. This versatile cutter can be used anywhere: overhead, underwater, explosive atmosphere (cold cut,) noise-free environments, pipe racks, and more! Comes with the Reed Lifetime Warranty.
