Don't expect this table saw extension to fit out of the box. The laminated top was wider than the specified 27" and had to be trimmed to fit between the fence rails. Nor was it mated correctly to the underlying frame, overhanging on one side and being shy on the other. It wasn't flat either, sagging by at least 1/6" over the length. If you ordered this table because you're a woodworker, many of your skills will be required to make it work. Having disassembled your table saw in expectation of the delivery of a properly manufactured table made this task all the more challenging. First, the overhanging edge was trimmed flush to the frame with a router. Next, a shim was glued the full length of the opposite edge and then this edge was trimmed to the correct dimension with a router guided by a straight edge (removing the laminate edging). Finally, the board was flattened by clamping as it was bolted into place. You might do better by making an extension table yourself than by struggling with this poorly made piece.
