The New Model P-TEC 2550 can be used on Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), and Thin-Walled PVC disposer kits, tailpieces, and wall tubes of 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" sizes on the same tool. The Tailpiece Extension Cutter is another addition to the RIDGID Under-the-Sink specialty tools family that have brought tremendous value to service plumbers, plumbing contractors and the DIY.
- The cut produces a fine strand of plastic as opposed to the fuzz found when using a hacksaw
- No need for a second tool to deburr, the cutter automatically deburrs in parallel to cutting action
- The cutter allows for immediate, easy joining to other sink drain pieces by automatically beveling the new piece
- Cuts in only six rotations on average, which is 4X faster than using a standard hacksaw
- The easy-view windows allow you to see the cut which ensures a straight cut on the marked pipe every time
