Vaughan's tubular steel hammers each feature a patented 4" hickory plug. The plug extends from the eye well down in the handle for added strength and shocking absorbing powers. The handle is steel wedged and epoxy sealed to the head for extra durability. The non-slip PVC grip is contoured for a natural and comfortable feel. Full polished head for a hammer that looks as beautiful as it performs.
