The Bosch 12V Max EC Brushless Palm Edge Router (Tool Only) (GKF12V-25N) delivers cordless freedom and a unique offset design, making this router the choice for comfortable, compact edge routing and trimming. The ergonomic palm edge router is light weight and balanced. This professional cordless router is designed specifically to make edge routing and trimming easier. It features a unique design that has most of the tool and its gripping areas positioned over the workpiece for maximum stability when edge-forming. It weighs only 2.2 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery).

The EC Brushless motor helps to provide great runtime. When rounding 0.2" of beech, this unit delivers 23 Ft. of routing per battery Amp hour (Ah). It has an easy-change spindle lock, fast macro depth adjustment, and easy fine depth adjustment at 0.04" per revolution of the dial. For user protection, it includes finger barriers to help prevent contact with the bit area.

Very handy but not the most accurate

Bought this to make small av touch screen brackets, for the most part it's a great bit of kit. Not really left hand friendly, batterys run out super fast but my biggest issue is the cutter isnt quite centre of the base , I found the the lhs rhs and top all give slightly different cut depths , only by half a mm but when your trying to do a tight figment it can cause an issue .

Only good for edge trim only.

It is strictly and edge router. Tried to do some quick work today without having to run cords and its lack of being able to see your work limits its use. The On/Off switch is difficult to use. If your looking for trim router only function, should be a good choice. Definitely limited for other uses.

Perfect round over tool

Using this router with a Freud 1/8" round over bit. Perfect match, no cord and I'm using my 12V batteries one more way. Nice job Mr Bosch!

My new go-to router for small tasks

I never thought I'd enjoy cordless freedom as much as I do with a router. So maneuverable, not worrying about cords getting in the way. No task light, and definitely no dust collection, but it's so small and easy to handle I think that makes up for it.

Does this palm router work on hinge gains ?

I am a finish carpenter and would like a cordless palm router for routing out hinge gains. Does this router come with a collet to limit the area being routed when using a hinge template
