This compact DEWALT 20V MAX Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4-1/2" Slide Switch Angle Grinder with kickback brake (DCG405B) requires no time changing brushes and offers a long motor life.

Part of the PERFORM & PROTECT™ line of products, this grinder is equipped with Kickback Brake which engages with maximum force to stop the wheel when a pinch, stall, or bind-up is detected. Power Loss Reset® prevents accidental restarts following a power disruption when the tool is left in the "on" position.

 

Battery and charger sold separately.

  • Brushless motor requires no brush changes
  • Kickback Brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed and the electronic brake engages with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder and shut the grinder off
  • Brake stops wheel in 2 seconds or less on average
  • Power Loss Reset® prevents accidental restarts following a power disruption when the tool is left in the "on" position
