Built with user protection in mind, the Perform and Protect grinder's kickback brake engages to rapidly shut the grinder off when a stall, bind-up, or pinch is detected.

I recommend this product

This is the Best cordless grinder on the planet

I have this and 2 of the 418's (the previous best cordless grinder) so that I can keep different wheels on each & just have them ready for me while I work. I use them daily as a welder/fabricator and this is every bit & probably more power than a plug in grinder. Paired with a 12 a.h battery is the perfect combination... but you'll need extra batteries if it's a "grinder heavy" job, and the charger, so that you can keep a rotation going to get you through the day.
