Standard Head One-Piece Dead Blow Hammer (69-533G) uses a steel shot filled canister that creates a dead blow effect which sustains impact, maximizes force, reduces/eliminates rebound, and absorbs the shock of impact while the steel reinforced handle provides added strength and safety by resisting breaking on overstrike. No metal is exposed on this hammer as the steel shot chamber and steel reinforced handle are covered in a non-sparking hot cast urethane face that will not mar surfaces or absorb liquids and resisting chipping and splitting while reducing noise when striking metal objects. The textured has a flanged butt end for a sure non-slip grip. Meets or exceeds US Federal Spec. GGG-H-33A.
