The Hitachi 14 In. chop saw (CC14SFS ), with a new aggressive design, is built to tackle the toughest materials. With a powerful 15 amp, 2,000 watt motor producing a no load speed of 4,000 RPM, it cuts through pipe, rebar and shaped steel with ease. A quick-lock/release vise provides for fast changing of materials, while a simple adjustment allows miter cuts up to 45 degrees in either direction. Its light weight, compact size and large cut capacity make the CC14SFS both portable and versatile. Other features include a soft grip handle, an adjustable spark diversion guard and Hitachi's exclusive 5 year warranty.

very nice product

i have only used this tool twice so far but i am very happy with its performance. cant wait to use it to build my trailer. very happy with this metal chop saw.

More durable than expected.

I first bought the Chop saw because the price was reasonable, not expecting it to last as long as other brand name chop saws. It has been in daily use in our steel shop for about a year and is still going strong. great product for the price.

dust catch could be better

All in all I have been very happy with the saw. I feel that the dust collector could be better but this is not a major issue. The only other thing that might be a little easier to us is the clamping system. I wish there was a way to hold the wood firmly at both ends.
