The saw features a more efficient use of power and a starter grip decompression allows for faster starting. This saw is perfect for a wide range of cutting needs.

Great Saw !!!

This saw has been great! After using it on a new garage project, i stupidly put it up with 10% ETOH fuel in it. Over a year later I needed it for another project. Figured it would need a new carb from the fuel. Cranked up after 6 pulls, ran like a champ. Ive been more diligent on the fuel and storage, but this saw runs great. Had it 5 years and it has never failed me. Just wish blades lasted longer.

never buy this saw again and no more makitas

used it for two jobs started having starting issues then running issues would back fire when running full speed called makita . they told me had carb problems and had to buy redesigned carb. 300 dollars later saw ran than problems stated arising again shortly after new carb. had dpc7311 cut like a beast for years would run all day on tank of fuel. this ex7301 is piece of garbage i spend more money in rentals then did on this saw this saw is no where as good as the saw it replaced. this saw belongs in garbage
