Excellent tool and awesome deal

The tool is everything I expect from Makita. Super easy to change blades; excellent speed control; very precise cutting, even with a fairly large blade. Better yet, I got this in a package with a Makita hammer drill and an impact driver for only $40 more than getting the Oscillating tool alone with a case and battery charger. Even better, the batteries and charging system are compatible with the 18V drill I got ten years ago.

I love Makita Quality

I have been using Makita drills and drivers for many years, and they have never disappointed. I have not used this since purchase, other than to try it. I have no doubt that this has the same quality as other Makita products. I do find it a bit large and not as ergonomic as the multi-tool I am replacing, but the quality of that tool is poor. I love the tool-less blade change and the speed control. My old one, the speed was controlled by the trigger. This one, the speed is dialed in, and the trigger simply starts/stops the tool. I like that process much better. I can set it for the material I am cutting and not have to think about speed every time I touch the tool to the material.

Pure excellence

Super quality tool this. I have multiple attachements that make easy work of fiddly tasks. Love this tool.
