It's Cordless, It's Corded, It's BOTH.

This cordless reciprocating saw has professional 36V power with a 4-stage speed selector ranging from 1,700 SPM to 3,000 SPM(Strokes per Minute) plus the option to choose orbital action for faster cutting. With the Low Vibration Protection built in, users will feel low vibration during use.

The MultiVolt cordless reciprocating saw accepts a 36V battery OR plugs into an outlet with the AC Adapter. This unique platform changes what's possible on the jobsite by offering the power of a corded reciprocating saw, the freedom of a cordless reciprocating saw and the choice to operate all MultiVolt tools cordless OR corded.

Great reciprocating saw

Bought this because I heard good reviews on it and so far it has been nothing, but good things from it. Its faster than any other brand and lighter, great quality and at a lower price than its competition.

heavy, akward blade change, low vibration

expensive compared to other brands id prefer it lighter but the vibration is very low . blade is very annoying to change. but the adjustable shoe is great, cant tell the diffeerence with orbital mode but ive only used the tool a couple times.

This thing is a beast!

This tool has far exceeded my expectations…the power and stroke of the 36V Metabo Reciprocating Saw is really good. My only complaint would be the blade changes. This was bought during a Promo purchase that came w/ a free starter kit and it made it a no-brainer. Item was shipped fast by toolbarn as it was in stock!

A real beast of a saw

Im a professional general contractor and have been using the metabo-hpt multi volt reciprocating saw on the jobsite for some time now. The saw in general is probably the most powerful available on the market today in all voltage ranges. With the orbital action feature it can power through the most demanding demo jobs a contractor can throw at it. The battery lasts insanely long and the option to plug it in means no down time. The saw has minimal vibration but still a bit large for delicate cuts. This is my new go to saw for all my demolition needs. A real home run metabo-hpt
