36V MultiVolt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1-9/16” SDS-Max Rotary Hammer (Tool Only)

Metabo HPT introduces the first cordless-corded solution that meets the power output demand on a jobsite. MultiVolt offers the power of a corded tool, the freedom of a cordless platform and the choice to operate all MultiVolt tools with a battery or plug into an outlet. Metabo HPT batteries use 21700 cells, delivering 1,440+watts of power, similar to 120V-15amp corded power tools. This allows for greater power and approximately 46% more capacity. The battery delivers 4 Ah of runtime in the Metabo HPT 36 V platform and 8 Ah of runtime in the Hitachi-Metabo HPT 18V platform. Cordless or corded-you decide.

  • Reactive Force Control senses the tool overload and stops rotation to ensure user safety and protect the tool motor and battery
  • Brushless Motor Technology for higher efficiency, increased run time and longer tool lifetime
  • 2 modes: hammer and hammer drill for flexibility within a range of applications
  • Control board: from 260-590 RPM and 1,420 - 2,860 BPM to best suit the application
  • Low vibration handle with soft grip ensures a high vibration absorbing effect for added user comfort

This hammer drill is really good specially that it can be a cord and a cordless that is an extra for us. I truly recommend

Blown away

Starting off I wasn't really expecting that great of performance. Honestly I didn't really know what to expect but I was totally blown away this rotary hammer was truly built to be a professional tool!! This sds max will hang or outperform anything else in the 1 9/16 range that includes dewalt flexvolt, Milwaukee fuel and even the new makita x2!! It actually has on big advantage being able to run ac/dc. The vibration control is amazing and the power is unreal WAYY more than I was thinking!! If you are on the fence about purchasing it don't be I know it's an expensive purchase but it will make you money and your getting a quality product from a great company!!!

Just like my other reviews, this might sound like it was written by Meatabo's Marketing Department, but this thing rocks. Great battery life with consistent power. Plus each battery has a useful power gauge. Light-weight to hold but heavy-duty in its abilities (e.g., digging out footings, squaring up foundations, digging trenches, etc.). Accepts wide range of attachments for multiple jobs. For instance, using it on a full bore construction site it easily goes from trench digging to concrete chipping to drilling through concrete.
