We have only used this tool on three occasions, but we like it so far.

With only limited usage thus far, it has worked very well. It hasn't malfunctioned and has done a quality job. Because of the limited space with joist hangers, it take some adjustment to get the tool in a position to work in a confined space. That should come with experience. It certainly is a time saver and saves some finger smashing. We have enjoyed using it to date.
