Featuring an unprecedented quick response with a unique cylinder valve firing mechanism, it can fire up to 3 nails per second. The NV45AB2M will fire all standard roofing Nails ranging in size from 7/8 In. to 1-3/4 In. Its depth of drive adjustment will allow you to drive the nail to the desired depth at operating pressure ranging from 70 to 120 psi.

Can no longer recommend

Sad to say this product isnt made the way it used to be.Been roofing 30 yrs using hitachi for the last 10.my first gun( made in Japan) Lasted 8 yrs( reconditioned twice) in the last 2 yrs I have been through 4 guns( made in Taiwan model)we do 180-200 houses a yr. They dont take the beating they used to and they dont have the made in Japan model for roofing anymore. Still better than bostich

Phenomenal tool, just wish it would shoot that last nail

Being part of a company that works with 12+ crews, this is the most used gun by all our labor. They hold up great, can take a beating, and still get the job done day after day in hot or cold weather. My main complaint is it not shooting the last nail. This leads to nails along the roof/gutters where they shouldn't be and possible holes in the shingles if the guys don't get to it quick enough and it gets stepped on. Would be nice if it came with a belt clip, but that is definitely more of a preference than any functionality of the tool. This is a great tool that I expect to get many years out of and I would recommend it to anyone.

A little expensive and heavy warranty could be better

Not the best warranty on the market for the price. Half pound heavier than my last gun we'll see if it lasts.

hitachi vs bostich

This nailer will run circle around any bostich nailer out there bar none. I've had a few of the sub standard so called cheaper nailers that missfire or just put in miss formed nails with deformed heads. I haven't had any problems with this one yet, after around 600,000 nails.

NV45AB2 1.75"

I purchase this so could do my roof and cement board siding. So far just the roof is done and worked great no jamming just the last nail will fall out but that is because not tied to another for the feeder.
