This 16-Degree 3-1/4" Wire Weld Collated Coil Framing Nailer from Metabo HPT (NV83A5M) features the same excellent cylinder valve drive system as the previous model. You will be able to work faster as well because this tool drives up to 3 (3-1/4" x 0.131") nails per second. Jams will no longer be a problem when you utilize the opening nose. Working with coil framing nails means you'll have to deal with messy wire collation. With the NV83A5M, there is a plastic shield that deflects wire collation away from the user. If you carry out framing, remodeling ,or construction applications frequently, you can't do better than this nailer.

Would be 5 stars if hook wasn't so cheap

Great gun with good power and balance that is well known with Hitachi framing guns. This new model comes with a factory rafter hook, mine broke within a few weeks. The rafter hook metal is so thin and cheap feeling. Hitachi almost got it correct with the rafter hook, however it is so cheap it bends from the natural weight of the nail gun. After 30 times of it bending back and forth, it will just snap. I will be reaching out to Hitachi for a replacement hook, hopefully better quality.
