This Metabo HPT 1/4 Sheet 1.7 Amp Finishing Sander (SV12SGM) features a large soft grip that comfortably fits in the palm of a hand for ease of operation. It sands wood to a finish and can prepare woodwork or sheet metal for painting. Its dust collection system is most efficient in its class to reduce airborne particles. This is a lightweight, yet powerful sander with a 4-3/8" x 4" pad size is optimal for all fine finish sanding applications

Powerful

I have used this sander for numerous years & it has never lost speed or power. Fits perfectly in palm even for someone with small hands. This Hitachi sander works hard but doesn't wear you out.
