The Milwaukee 1630-1 has a chrome-moly alloy steel for high torque transmission with minimum wear, a pipe handle for added control, heavy-duty aluminum alloy housing, and a strong glass-filled nylon spade and switch handles.  The brushes are designed for fast easy changes, also has a powerful 7-amp motor.

MY SECOND ONE. FIRST IS A 1610 450 RPM.

ALL THESE DRILLS HAVE SPECIFIC USES. OF COURSE RIGHT ANGLE IS SELF EXPLANATORY. THE 450 RPM 1610 HAS BEEN USED SINCE 1978 FREQUENTLY AND STILL RUNS EXTREMELY STRONG. I BOUGHT THIS 900 RPM 1630 BECAUSE I WANT MORE SPEED TO ROUGH A HOUSE. MAKE NO MISTAKE I WILL STILL USE THE 450 REGULARLY. THIS NEW DRILL IS AN ABSOLUTE SWEETHEART. IT EATS STUDS FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND DINNER. WHETHER OLD DRIED STUDS OR NEW PINE. IT DOES NOT MATTER THIS DRILL IS A NO COMPROMISE. IT GETS THE JOB DONE AND GETS IT DONE FAST. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GOOD DRILL WITH VERY HIGH TORQUE GO WITH THE 450 RPM. IF YOU WANT A FAST DRILL WITH STILL GOOD TORQUE BUT FLIES THROUGH THE STUDS, METAL AND OTHER MATERIAL THIS IS YOUR DRILL. IF YOU CHOSE THE 450 RPM USE EXTREME CAUTION, THIS DRILL IS EXTREMELY POWERFUL AND WILL EASILY BREAK BONES OR RUIN YOUR NECK. WE HAD A APPRENTICE WITH LONG HAIR AND HE LITERIALLY PULLED OUT A PATCH OF HAIR AND FLESH RIGHT OUT THE FRONT OF HIS HEAD. THIS IS SERIOUS AND NO JOKE. THIS DRILL WILL PUT YOU IN A HOSPITAL BED IF CAUTION IS NOT EXERCISED WHILE IN USE.
