The Milwaukee M12 12V Cordless Multi-Tool (2426-20) offers versatility, power, and control to complete problematic job site applications. The multi-tool is ideal for remodelers, flooring contractors, maintenance repair technicians, and electricians. It allows you to perform cuts, grinds, sands, and scrapes at odd angles and in difficult work areas. The cordless multi-tool is powered by our M12 REDLITHIUM Battery (sold separately) to give you up to 25% more runtime than the competition. You can use the multi-tool to make flush or plunge cuts, remove grout, sand and tackle other awkward jobs. It operates from 5,000 to 20,000 OPM and allows you to match the speed to the application. An all-metal gear case provides added durability, while the over-molded, ergonomic handle allows you to handle the tool with extra control. The cordless tool comes bundled with 5 assorted sanding sheets, a sanding pad, and a wood cutting blade.

This multi-tool is a must have

This tool is very useful and easy to change out attachments. This has really simplified many jobs for me. I've recommended this tool to many colleagues.

Not the most convenient power tool to use.

I do like the power,the speed control dial and battery life meter. The most irritating issue I have with the M12 Multi-Tool is you have to loosen a Hex screw to install or replace a blade and there is no place to store the hex/Allen wrench on the tool.So you have to leave the work area and & go to the tool box and fetch the wrench.How hard would it be to add a holder for the wrench.I also own a Ridgid 12v multi tool that has a tool-less blade attachment system that's so much easier to deal with.Another gripe is the battery is difficult to remove.Its the only Milwaukee tool I didn't love.

Milwaukee missed it

Milwaukee missed it on this tool. Minor flaw: Its not tool free, thats fine but how hard would it have been to allow for onboard storage of Allen key Major Flaw: battery vibrates loose constantly under use. Cannot complete a simple door jamb undercut without the tool quitting multiple times. I own lots of red tools but they really missed it with this one

My first disappointing milwaukee tool!

First let me start out by saying I'm a HUGE milwaukee fan! While all my milwaukee tools I own have been m18 fuel tools, this was my first non fuel product. I REALLY wish I would've spent a little more and got the newer fuel tool. Not only does it vibrate so bad I can barely hold it for more than a minute. It also is VERY LOUD. Now I can deal with that because I didn't get the updated fuel version, so i guess that's on me. BUT where I'm really disappointed is the fact that the battery keeps working its way back off and I have to stop and push the battery back in. On top of that the blade keeps coming loose, no matter how tight I tighten the allen screw. Love Milwaukee but definitely disappointed in this oscillating tool!

Not happy

I don't think I'll try this one again. Sent in for service because the batts would not stay in. Turn around was quick enough but it is doing the same as before. I don't use that often but when I need it, I need it. I may try the M18 version but looks like same issues.
