Good to have for emergencies!!

Milwaukees compact inflator has been an awesome addition to my Milwaukee tool collection. The inflator weighs in at only 4.27 lbs without a battery and has the power to inflate a light truck up to 45 PSI in under 4 minutes. The screen is LED lit and allows for you to control what your desired PSI is and the inflator will automatically stop once you reach that PSI. The inflator has a 26 inch hose that has an all brass Schrader chuck which allows for you to screw the chuck onto a tire valve. Also included are a ball inflation needle, presta chuck, and an inflator nozzle which is nicely stored on the back of the inflator where the hose wraps and is stored as well. The inflator has anti-vibration feet which prevents it from bouncing around as you are running the inflator. Surprisingly my kids use this inflator quite often to inflate their balls, its great that the needle is stored on the tool as over the years we have been always looking for an inflating needle. I own a Toyota Tundra with 20 tires and this inflator was able to top off the tire from completely flat in about 4 minutes using a 4.0 battery. If your truck is loaded with stuff in the back you may run into problems filling the tire. Smaller cars are no problem for this tool. I really like that it comes equipped with a schrader chuck because it screws onto the tire air valve so you dont have to hold it in place. Basically any tire that has a screw on cap, this chuck will also screw on as well. It is super compact and anyone can use the tool its that easy. Great to have for emergency situations.

Good but not Great

I originally purchased this unit in the hopes that it would work well with my 1 ton truck, and it does... kinda... While the inflator is rated to 120 psi, I can only imagine the amount of run time it would take, not to mention the batteries required. The tires on my truck are set to 80 psi, and even just getting from 70 to that takes more time than I expected. Not to mention it really drains the battery. However, when I did get a flat, I was able to get the tire from 0 to ~65 psi on a full charge, at least long enough for me to move the vehicle. The real issue lies in the batteries, rather than the inflator is what I've found. The kit I purchased came with an XC 4.0 Extended Battery, and to inflate about 10-20 psi requires about 50% from a full charge. I would like to see the boost in efficiency with the 6.0 battery, but I haven't been able to get my hands on one yet. Overall it does the job well, but I would recommend this more to people that have cars/suvs/light duty trucks, rather than heavy duty vehicles.

Best Inflator Off Many I Owned IF USED AS INTENDED

I own several inflators, from air compressors to portable 120v units, to low psi high volume compressors to battery powered units. This Milwaukee Inflator is by far (5+ stars) very best by far to maintain your tires at the correct pressure and use AS INTENDED. No... it wont inflate your giant off-road tires from zero PSI, pump up all 18 tractor trailer tires or get you an 18-point buck at hunting season like some poor reviews would like you to think it should. Its perfect though for the things it was specifically designed for such as: bringing all your car tires up by 1-5 psi when the cold weather hits or your yard equipment tires, etc... better then any other inflator. Occasionally a low star review may have a valid point but most low stars for this product are because the owners use the product in ways it was not intended.

Works great

I keep this compressor in my tool box. I work construction and often find screws in my truck and trailer tires. Works great to top off the tire until I make it to the tire repair shop. I recommend using an xc battery. I highly recommend this tool

First impression

Just purchased this to have while traveling. Had an opportunity to use it to inflate tire on a car we use infrequently. TPMS said tire was low. Connected the compressor showed the current pressure was 19 psi. Set the target pressure at 35 psi and hit the inflate button. In less than 2 minutes the tire was at 35 psi and pump stopped automatically. Was happy to see there is also a presta valve adapter included. The secure threaded connection to the stem is awesome too. No need to hold a leaky air chuck against the valve stem. Tempted to buy another one for my other vehicle.
