Not quite the milwaukee I'm expected

I am a huge fan of milwaukee tools and I use them on an almost everyday basis. From impacts and drills to jigsaws and cutoff wheels. I was excited to get the soldiering iron and use it at work and home, but like alot of the other reveiws I'm seeing now it's not a good buy. The tip melted on mine like so many others. There really should be a recall or some kind of a update for this issue. Its not really that cheap of a soldiering gun to buy so seeing all the reveiws about it melting down is disappointing.

So excited, then completely disappointed (twice)

When I first saw this product it was love at first site. But just like my past loves I ended up being horribly and completely disappointed. So my first one was everything I could of ever wanted from a cordless soldering iron until until one day I went to turn it on but it just wouldnt heat up. I understand things happened so I paid no mind to the little green light that just wouldnt stop flashing. First thing next morning I went straight to the local hardware store and bought another one. Later on that day during the first time using it my collar melted. Then I come to this website only to find out that more than 2/3 of the comments are about the collar melting. Why is this still being sold. This has let me down in so many ways where do I start. How about with this. When I spend my hard earned money to buy a tool with the colors red and black and that wonderful name Milwaukee I expect I dont hope and I dont wish I expect it to be crafted with expertise and built with the vary best materials and quality tested every aspect of tool. Which obviously was not done. Did you guys even turn one on before you sent them out for sale. Cause it seems to me that if you did you would of seen this flaw immediately and fixed it. So its really hard for me to believe that you guys didnt know there was a problem. So it seems to me that Milwaukee is selling a tool that they know is faulty. A faulty tool that is also extremely dangerous if it were to fail. Fires could be started. Lives could be lost. Come On fix it or pull it. Please tell me where I can file a warranty claim I cant seem to find the link. Thank you for hearing my concerns

I Love the tool but it didn't last

I Love the tool but it didn't last that long it last for 3 months and i would buy it again but with home Depot issurance i open the tool nothing look bad the only thing it does it flash the green light for the whole day and keep flashing it would not get hot

Let down

Love Milwaukee and would like this tool alot but the tip broke off the 2nd day I had it. I was only used for 5 min.
