No more hoses and compressors!!

No more carrying around a compressor and dealing with hoses!! This cordless finish nailer has been a life changer for me on the job site. Less stuff to pack up for jobs that I work on which means more time and energy to get things done. Milwaukees 15 gauge finish nailer is an awesome upgrade from my previous nailers that were pneumatic. This nailer has zero ramp up time and can shoot 2 1/2 nails into solid wood consistently each and every time. The nailer has two firing modes that either fire a nail on one pull of the trigger or a rapid fire mode that shoots nails with the trigger pressed and contact is made on the top of the nailer. Each nail is consistent in either mode. There is a built in depth gauge so you can make necessary adjustments depending on what material you are working with. It comes with a belt clip for easy access as you are working with both hands. This cordless nailer performs as well as the best pneumatic brands I have used over the years but the fact that you do not have to use a compressor and deal with hoses or gas cartridges puts this nailer on the top of the list for me. typically run this nailer on a 3.0 battery and the overall weight is still easily manageable. Overall weight is going to be heavier than a pneumatic but you get used to it quickly. I mainly use this for baseboards and trim, but I also do a lot of set building and dance studio building so this has come in handy with building creative pieces. If the nailer gets jammed there is an easy access lever on the top of the nailer to help you clear the jammed nail. Of the 3 years I have used this nailer it has jammed once on me and I had to remove the magazine in order to clear the nail. It took me about 5 minutes to solve the problem. You can load up two full strips of either 1 1/4 nails up to 2 1/2 nails with room to spare. Stop carrying around all the extra equipment. With the way technology and innovation is going in the power tool market, I feel like its important to upgrade for the sake of long term body health. Milwaukees cordless platform performs as good if not better than corded power tools. Less hassle and less packing makes for easier job and less work.

Great tool ,but

In the past few years I have purchased several of these nail guns. My issue is that the nail pusher/advance breaks very easily. Tired of having one being repaired and then having to repair the one I was using in its place. That is my only issue.

Replaces pneumatic completely.

I purchased two of these and both have performed flawlessly. We used them on a long framing job and never had a jammed nail or a high nail. I dont mind the extra few lbs at all. The trade off is no more giant gas powered compressor, no more tripping over air hoses, no more hoses tangled through studs. I can go up on the trusses or down to the basement without dragging hoses or moving a compressor. Also no need to buy $12 gas cartridges. This is an excellent COMPLETE replacement for pneumatic nailers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Nailed It!

I am a DIYer and have some work to do in a large church facility that this nailer will be a big part of. I have only used it on a couple of smaller jobs but so far this beauty is really nice and consistent. I've had zero jams, zero overheat shutdowns and after some use in familiarizing myself with it haven't had any nails not fully sink. At first I had a couple proud of the surface but that was due to my not controlling the kickback, these things are powerful! It could probably be improved for getting into corners but I'm not sure how much, it is just a flaw for all of these types of nailers, it certainly does as well as most of the competition. I am completely satisfied with the form and function of the unit and look forward to the day Milwaukee produces an M18 framing nailer because I will be running to the store to get my very own!

Love my nailer

I have a paslode framer so i was looking for the trim gun well i saw this one and brought it because i am a milwaukee fuel serial buyer and am i glad i did no gas just a battery and it works like a dream ive let at least six other people try it and they went out and brought it ive used this one for crown base moulding and door trim so i went and brought the brad nailer which is just as good now if milwaukee can hurry up with the framer then the paslode will be going bye bye
