Bolt removal mode gives the user more control when removing fasteners by slowing to 750 RPM once the fastener has been busted loose. Best in class!!

This 1/2 impact wrench is an absolute beast when it comes to fastening or nut busting. I do not have the means to be able to actually gauge the amount of torque this tool actually produces, but it has not failed in whatever job I put it to. It has a four mode drive control so that you choose what mode is best for the job you are working on. The tool does not require an additional tool in order to change out sockets. The tool is overall well balanced and weighs 5.9 lbs. I originally purchased this impact wrench to put in 6 lag screws for a car port that I was building. My Milwaukee impact driver is strong enough to do the job, but multiply that by over 20 lag screws and I felt it would put unnecessary wear on my impact driver so I picked this guy up. Of course there is no comparison in terms of performance. I use socket sets from Milwaukee, the 1/2 SAE deep well sockets set (49-66-4484) and the 1/4 drive metric set (49-66-4301) along with the 1/2 to 1/4 hex adapter (48-03-4410). I did a general test with this impact wrench and drove in a 10 lag screw into a tree trunk and it took the wrench about 10 seconds to drive the entire screw in and it did not lag or stall, but went in very smoothly. Performance wise this wrench does a phenomenal job. Surprisingly I have used this wrench the most changing out tires. Automotive is not my field, but we have over 20 cars that we manage and I have had my fair share of calls to change out flat tires. The car jack and the nuts on the tire are no match for this wrench and changing out a tire literally takes me a few minutes from start to finish. This impact wrench was a great addition to my Milwaukee tool arsenal and well worth the price. From building car ports to changing tires, it has paid for itself and then some.

Never used an air impact since buying this.

This impact is absolutely amazing. I am a mechanic on large Agricultural equiptment. For years I used an air impact. One day I tried this impact and it was the last day I ever used my air impact. The torque is incredible on this tool. It's rare that it can't break a nut loose. I've had no issues on semi tires or tractor tires.

Not happy with my impacts!!

I'm a mobile heavy truck mechanic and have been using milwaulkee tools for years. I have a wide variety of impacts, drills, ratchets, and others to boot. But now I'm having to send in my m12 3/8" impact along with the battery and one of my 1/2" impacts because if loose battery connection. This is so much of an issue that I had to buy another 1/2" impact because I couldn't wait to have mine sent off for service because I need my tools. Not happy about this at all. Not good that this is happening with multiple impacts.

This is a great impact. Will do the same as the brand new model Snap On but at half the price. I have used both
