The tool was barely used buy an older plumber that I bought it from. I used it a few times a week and the motor went out . Luckily it was still in warranty . Got it back . Less than a year later and only used a few times here and there and the motor went out again ! But now its out of warranty. Another plumber in town has a ridgid that he has had for 6 years using ever day and never had a problem .
We bought this pro-press to re-pipe a large building. It worked great for 2 months, then it failed, and worse, the failures are inconsistent. We are wondering why so many Milwaukee Tools fail so quickly. We actually take care of our tools! And I am sure Milwaukee will likely fix this tool... BUT, we will be without an expensive tool as Milwaukee fixes it. Milwaukee has a great eService process... I should know, we send Milwaukee tools in wayyyyy too often.
