Unbelievably Powerful

This grinder is crazy powerful. Go ahead and retire the corded grinders to under the bench. This is all the grinder you'll ever need. I have a 9 inch corded grinder (6088-30) that I purchased for the heavy duty jobs and it has been "retired" since I bought this cordless one. This thing is amazing. Finished a normally 20 minute job in about 14 minutes. With an 8.0 battery, it's not noticably heavier than the corded one and battery life is good. If you're looking for production, this is the one to get. I would recommend having a couple of the 12.0 batteries for really heavy usage but I make out fine with two 8.0 packs. The quick adjust guard is easy to use and moves smoothly. The new style locking ring allows you to leave the spanner tightening wrench in the toolbox. Milwaukee hit a homerun again with this big grinder.

Very happy, well pur together tool

Very torquey with a 9 in grinding disc on it you will want both hands on it. But it is so well balanced that with the 12.0 battery in it you can operate it with one hand.

Seems pretty well built

Have not got to use it yet. Does not come with a backing plate to run flat wheels. Contacted Milwaukee and was supposed to receive the part but no show so far. If I don't get that part this tool is pretty much useless to me for what I bought it for. The guard does not fit well. Rattles around on grinder. Loose fitment poor design.
